Day Camp and Camp Akela Info and Links

The Day Camp Program

If you are in 1st grade, you will be placed in a Wolf Den. 2nd graders will be placed in a Bear Den and all 3rd graders will be in our Webelos program. You and your friends in that grade will work on your advancement badges and enjoy these activities at camp:

  • archery
  • bb guns
  • craft projects
  • swimming
  • climbing
  • skits and songs at closing ceremony.

Check in is at 8.45am. Camp starts at 9:00 with a flag ceremony and ends at approx. 3:45 each day after our camp fire ceremony.

Everyone brings a sack lunch each day. We provide cold milk for free and will keep your lunch refrigerated until lunchtime.

On Friday night you will be able to camp overnight with an adult over 21 (fees are $7 per person.) Friday supper and Saturday breakfast will be provided.

Camp Akela

If you're now in 4th grade, you will want to be a part of the Akela program, which is especially designed to be more challenging than our day camp program. You will be able to choose and complete activity badges. These badges will help you towards your Arrow of Light. Along with earning these Activity Badges, you will be able to enjoy all out camp activities like:

  • swimming
  • archery
  • bb guns
  • crafts
  • nature sports
  • climbing

You and your buddies will stay in camp for 3 nights. All your meals will be prepared for you at the dining hall and you will be sleeping in camp sites with new friends to meet.
